“You’re my place of quiet retreat; I wait for Your word to renew me.” ~Psalm 119:114
On March 18th the Seton/Elizabeth Ministry hosted their annual Lenten Retreat for Women. Fifty women from the parish came together to spend a very special morning. This year, the guest speaker was Sister Mary Edward Sporher, S.C.C., who shared her contagious enthusiasm for discipleship. Participants were greeted with a continental breakfast which was followed by a morning inspired by prayer, music, and reflection. Sister Mary Edward filled the room with giddy joy that was truly infectious! On behalf of all of the attendees, Bonnie and Eva from our “Purling Angels” Prayer Shawl Ministry presented Sister Mary Edward with a prayer shawl. The morning ended with this very touching expression of gratitude.
