Marriage Preparation Formation

Our Marriage Preparation Formation is designed to have an encounter with Christ through each other. Our Marriage Prep Team has designed a weekend formation that allows everyone to hear stories from married couples, learn about foundational principals key to a Catholic marriage, and share with other engaged couples experiences leading up to your wedding day. Our formation date will be announced. Once you have been in touch with Joanne DiMeglio you will be scheduled into our next Marriage Prep weekend.

Diocesan Silver & Gold Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Each year, our diocese holds a Sunday evening prayer service, giving public expression and recognition to couples celebrating their 25th or 50th wedding anniversaries.

This year, the service, celebrated by Bishop James F. Checchio, will take place at 4pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen. All celebrating couples are invited to attend. Wedding vows will be renewed and each couple will receive a personalized certificate from the Bishop.

If you are celebrating your 25th or 50th wedding anniversary and would like to take part in the celebration, please complete an application form and submit it to the St. Charles Borromeo parish office by noon, Monday, August 28, 2017. It can be dropped off or emailed to ckennedy@borromeo.org. A confirmation letter with further details will be sent once your application has been processed.
