Care for others and the love of knitting/crocheting have been combined into this prayerful ministry. The “Purling Angels” pray while knitting a shawl, blanket, or scarf that will embrace the recipient. Over 1,000 of these “tangible prayers” have been distributed to newly baptized children, brides preparing for married life, Interfaith Hospitality Network guests, mourning parishioners, Veterans at local hospitals, our sick, and those in need of consolation. 

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter or crocheter, please join us at one of our meetings. You can find fellowship and friendship while prayerfully creating a piece of handiwork that is filled with love and prayer from our church community of St Charles.
